Blanche Bell McQueen was born November 14, 1920 in Brierfield, Alabama to the late Burl and Louvenia Bell. She was the eleventh child, youngest daughter, and the last living member of a family of twelve children. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age.

Blanche attended school in Brierfield, Alabama and Chicago, Illinois.  She married Walter Johnson II, raising four children.  Later was united in marriage to Thomas J. Wilson, Sr. and was blessed with eight children.  She was a stay at home mother who enjoyed cooking and sewing; never refusing an opportunity to shop.  Blanche had a love for gospel music and singing. She loved the Lord and read her bible daily.  She challenged herself to memorize scriptures and was a life-long member of Rehoboth Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory seven children, Burl, Sarah (Robert-Deceased), Thomas (Doris), Jane, Evelyn (Booker T.), BJ, Vivian (Elijah) and sister-n-law, Katherine.  She also leaves twenty-three grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Blanche was proceeded in death by sons:  Walter, Bobby, Amos, Leon and Hosea. Siblings; Ruth, Rebecca, Winston, Hosea, Jane, Anderson, Roy, Thomas, Christine, Murry and Richard. Grandchildren; David, Matrice and Rita.
