Hello Miriam. My wife's Uncle Harry was, without warning, transferred by ambulance to ER, then to ICU on July 25th. Sue's Aunt Marilyn called Sue and indicated she needed Sue near her immediately. Sue and I caught the red-eye to GA and arrived at Uncle's bedside early morning. He never moved, spoke, or opened his eyes. He died on July 27th. Sue stayed by Aunt Marilyn's side supporting her throughout the arrangements at the Church, Funeral Home, Police Support, and Cemetery. Shortly afterward, about two weeks had passed, Sue was forced to return to work at YRMC. She left me to help Aunt Marilyn manage Probate, Letter Testamentary, Uncle Harry's Qualified and Non-qualified Pensions, Life Insurance and Investment Plans, etc. Unfortunately, everything appeared complex and often was. Aunt Marilyn and I made a rather good team and I returned to AZ Oct 1st. Everyday, many, many times I thought of you and Dcn Soikkeli and Chris and Dcn Bob and how you shouldered such a staggering loss! And, no matter how much effort you put into putting your best foot forward, even at the end of a day of terrific accomplishments, you still felt an overwhelming sadness--loss. I certainly pray that you are getting along well! And I pray that Dcn Bob RIP! Love, Earl
