Bobbi Lee Wyla Bourbonnais died Monday, July 7, 2014 from unknown causes. She collapsed at work and was unable to be revived.
A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. on Sun., Aug. 24 at Tina, Becky and Bobbi’s home, 14475 Makikuja Dr. in Grass Valley. Call Mike for directions (530) 273-1969
Bobbi was born Feb. 24, 1993 in Hemet, Calif. She was adopted at six years old and moved to her home in Grass Valley where she spent many happy years. She graduated from Bitney Springs High School in 2012 and did volunteer work at numerous non-profits and worked at Lamppost Pizza.
She loved animals, children singing, writing, listening to music, jewelry making and spending time with her family.
Bobbi is survived by her two moms, Tina Andersen and Becky Mckee; the man she considered her father, Mike Vanson; sister, Starla (Jarod) Weaver; nephew, Caleb Leland; her true love, Demetrius Thompson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bobbi’s cause of death is believed to be heart related, therefore, any funds received will go to her 23 year old sister (who is without insurance) to see a cardiologist for testing.
Bobbi will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She was the kind of young woman that everyone would be proud to call a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. We will always remember her infectious smile and her loving and caring personality.
