Bobbie Neville Dement, 88, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Brantwood Nursing Center in Oxford.

A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Glaudie L. Neville and Velma Cash. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Creedmoor and retired in retail from Dixie Variety Stores.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. Jim Shelly. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor. Surviving are a daughter, Rheta Lynn Wood of Creedmoor, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Dement, three children, Lisa Oakley, Linda Bradsher, Larry Dement, a sister, Mae Cash, five brothers, Lankford, Ed, Ralph, Glaudie Jr., and Maurice Neville.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 1:00-1:30 PM at the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.

Omission of flowers is requested and donations may be made to the Senior Center in Creedmoor.
