Happy birthday Meme! I love and miss you. I missed your last birthday on here! A lot has happened since then. Kyle and I got married on 10/11/2021. It was the most beautiful day and I know you would have loved to be there. You were missed. We’re moving to Nevada in a few months, jack just moved out there a couple weeks ago as well. I call papa often and take him out to dinner when I can. He’s still one of my favorite people on this planet. Kyle loves him too. They’re always joking around with each other and talking smack lol! He also races him on his scooter to dinner haha. I hope you’re celebrating and are able to see all the wonderful things happening with all of us down here. We miss and love you so much. Xoxo

Happy Birthday Mom! Rory is 2 1/2 now, and Danny is the best Daddy ever! Rory is super smart because her mommy Jourdan is a teacher with her Masters in early childhood development. They bought a home here in RSM down the street, so we are all living close by each other. I take her every Thursday afternoon for about 4 hours, and we do lots of things together like you did with my boys.
Papa is doing well, although he cannot walk anymore, but I see him every week, and talk to him several times per week - and most of the family visits him regularly. He likes where he lives, but misses you a lot. We went to lunch last Sunday, and still bet each other on football games for fun. Travis is so handsome and excelling in his career. He recently moved back home with me for a while to save some money to buy a new car, and it is nice having him here. I hope you are with your brothers and parents up there in heaven - and Helene. I recently went to Oregon and connected with all the cousins and Aunt Diane and Gary and Sue. they all look amazing! I love my job still, and hope to stay with this one until I retire in 5 years. 10 years is a long time that you have been gone, and every year I remember all the wonderful things you did for your family throughout your life. I love you!

Bobbie you’d be so happy to know that Donna, my sisters and I all reconnected in person this January! It was wonderful!! We’re going to keep our family connections alive from here on out!! I think you would be pleased :)

To the best Grandma there ever was! Hi Mom, thinking of you a lot lately, as i am a grandma now too! Danny and jourdan had a beautiful baby girl..Lorelai Rey Crowell on Feb 4 2020. We call her Rory, and you would be over the moon, like I am. She looks like Danny a lot, but bigger eyes like Jourdan. I cant wait to do all the things with her, that you did with my boys! Thank you for being such a wonderful grandma to Danny and Travis, they have wonderful memories of you and Papa. I have a whole stack of books already to read her, and they bought a house 10 mins away, so i will get to spoil her often! I wish I had asked you more questions about some things when you were here to ask. We all take good care of Papa, and he loves Rory! I know Dick, Charlie and Jim are all with you now, and I hope you are all proud of the wonderful families you created! I love you mom!

Sitting here with Bert, thinking of Mom today - 5 years she has been gone from our lives.
Mom, if you are listening, your first grandchild Danny got engaged last week to a beautiful young woman you would love! Her name is Jourdan, and she is a teacher for special needs kids. Danny also got his contractors license and has his own Electrical business now. They are very happy!
Travis moved back from Seattle, and is doing great too.
Mary and I and our girlfriends leave for Cancun in 2 weeks.
I spend every Sat morning with Papa, and Mary does on Sundays.
Papa misses you and thinks about you all the time. You married the most wonderful Man, mom!

So glad you guys keep this memorial site going.....what a wonderful thing. I love remembering your mom each year and her beautiful smile. She was a very favorite auntie to us Portland nieces! Such a gracious, loving, and wonderful person. I still miss her, of course and always will even though I didn't get to see her as much in my adulthood. Thinking about my mom all weekend and knowing she was looking down on Donna and I. We were lining her kitchen shelves and unpacking kitchen boxes in Donna's new house. I'm sure she was not only proud of Donna for buying her new place but also of how close we are, how well she taught us,how we work together and most of all how much fun we have while doing it! Miss you mom!

Miss you Mom! Randy, Mary, Claire, Jack, Bert, Danny, Travis and myself all went to San Clemete for dinner at the Fisherman - your favorite restaurant last month, and we spread your ashes inside of a heart drawn in the sand on the beach. The waves slowly took you away. It was wonderful, and beautiful! After dinner we all went to Lake Mission Viejo and lit sky lanterns and watched them float off into the heavens. I am staying with Papa now, and Danny lives here in town too. Travis is moving down soon, so we will all be together. We are spending Christmas at Mary's and Papa and I set up your Nativity Scene this weekend. We love and miss you soooo much. Thinking of you all the time.

I loved your mom. To me, she was the image of what a "perfect" mom should be. She was so sweet and kind, she was a great cook, and kept a beautiful home. What I remember most was she was always smiling and cheerful, and she was a beautiful, classy woman. I also admired the love that she and Bert had for each other. They always seemed like two newlyweds. She will be missed so much.

Bobbie and I were not only good friends but, neighbors, good walking budies, Camp fire leaders. "Colony Park", Where our children were all close and grew up together.
From birthday parties, gardening, to what shall we fix our family for dinner tonight?

The Faulks, The Breens, and The Wheelers, What fun we all had together...
Those monthly dinner parties, saving a $10.00 bill from each couple to put into our
first wine bottle, then the end of the year all of us going out for the BIG DINNER OUT
We actually had more fun at each others home than going out.
Yes, Thank goodness for memories.

Beautiful Lady inside and out

It's been nearly 30 years since I have seen Burt and Bobbie. My parents were best friends with them for many years until they lost contact. I remember Bobbie as the sweetest lady that I loved dearly. She was like a second mom to me back in the days and was just a beautiful person inside and out, and so caring. I have so many memories as a kid growing up and hanging out at her house with the kids. Although we lived in the Fair Oaks Housing Tract and not Colony Park, we were still part of the clan and treated no differently. I have so many great memories from our summers spent together, swimming and BBQ'ing. Bobbie and my mom shared a lot in common, as they both loved ceramic, loved to work in their yards which were meticulous, and both loving people. Bobbie, my mom Judie and my aunt Maryann (both deceased) used to hang out and go to ceramics at my aunts business in Pinole/San Pablo where my mom taught classes. They were like the 3 amigos and the best of friends. I remember their weekend get togethers where they would sit around my parents round coffee table in the front room and have drinks, hor 'd overes and dinner. They had the best of times. Bobbie will forever be missed by all that knew her.
RIP Mrs. Breen-Stimson, say Hi to my mom and dad and one day we "all" will be together again on the other side. Love to everyone, Stacy (Threlfall) Watkins
