His Life

Our loving Son

August 7, 2016

Bobby has a identical twin brother Billy (Bobby was born 1st. & was the smallest of the two);  they have a brother Randall 3 years older.  Growing up he & his twin were very close, if something happen to one it happen to the other a few days later. They were always together, they started school and had to be in the same room up until high school, but they still were still always together; if you seen one you seen the other.  When they graduated kindergarten Bobby started crying on stage, I had to get him down; no sooner had I sit back down Billy started crying & I had to get him off stage. The same thing happen in Chucrh plays several times when they were younger. Thank goodness they out grew that by high school graduation.

The three of them loved sports, we hauled them to Marbury to play football since Billingsley didn't have little league. They played baseball in Billingsley of course. Their Daddy always was there coaching, weither from the stands or as a coach and then always at home. He loved it when they played high school football, it was The high light in his life; watching his boys. When Bobby was a senior and got hurt, he told the doctor; we'll do whatever it takes to get him ready for the play-off game....and we did.....Bobby was so dedicated to the game he worked so hard with the trainer and at home He played in that final game when they won state 1997.

When they were about 19 they got back into Church and started a bus ministry. Bobby was ordained and then entered ministry school, in the mean time he also married the love of his life; Tiffany Smith. (The week of their wedding he was burned & ended up in the burn unit at UAB, but with his deep faith he was able to attend the wedding). A year later they had a son Caden and he was everything to Bobby & Tiffany of course.

Bobby loved his family, but as the Pastor said he was  "A PASTOR OF THE PEOPLE", Bobby loved the Lord and he made sure everyone knew it and always ask if you knew the Lord. He wanted to make sure that every person he came in contact with had a chance to know his Savior before it was to late.  Bobby was ready and always would let you know he was ready to go walk the streets of gold, I hope all who read this will be too.
