Bobby Jene Golden was born on December 29, 1938 in Mississippi and passed away on September 18, 2020 in Chelsea, AL.

Bobby retired from the VA Medical Center in Birmingham,AL. After her    retirement, Bobby did missionary work through Habitat for Humanity. This allowed her to share her Christian testimony for her love for the Lord with others.  She was able to have more time helping the elderly in the community.  Bobby was a faithful servant of God and played a key role in bringing others to Christ.

Bobby was the daughter of the late Hubert and Pauline Furniss of Clarksdake, MS.  She was preceded in death by her son Eddie (Susan) Ryan of Argos, IN and sister JoAnn Summers of Jackson, MS.  Bobby is survived by a daughter Stephanie (John) Palmer of Chelsea, AL, a son Darrell (Tammy) Ryan of Winchester, TN, a sister Freida (Bob) Gipson of Hot Springs AK, a brother Hubert Furniss Jr. of Jackson MS, grandchildren Ashley Palmer, Emily (Matt) Morgan, Natalie Palmer, Kylee Palmer, Michael Ryan, Rachel (Jon) Boggs, Kevin Ryan, great grandchildren Serenity Manges, Clover Renee Ryan, Adley Ryan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday September 21, 2020 at 3pm at the Mt. Signal Cemetary, Sterritt AL 35147.   The Pastor Leonard Irvin will officiate.
