bobby was my Grampa, he loved country music and fishing. he was also very funny. he taught important lessons i still remember today.

Bobby Joe Danner, Jr. a caring husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend passed away on January 19, 2023 at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family who will continue to carry on his legacy.
He was born to Bobby Danner Sr and Elizabeth Emmett on June 15, 1956. Bobby grew up in Dallas, Tx and graduated from Sunset High School class of 1974. He is survived by his high school sweetheart Susan (Peacock) of 45 years, daughter Rachel Riley, her husband Sean and their four children – Gracie, Cannon, Halle Ruth and Joshua; and his daughter Kali Davis, her husband Thomas and their daughters, Ellington and Patton. He is also survived by his sister Cindy Wright, his brother Robin Danner and his step father Joe Emmett.
He is preceded in death by his Father Bobby Danner, Sr., his mother Elizabeth Emmett, and grandparents.
As a Certified Boat Captain, Bobby enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting. When he wasn't there, you could find him on the beach, back nine, or making his daily rounds around town. Bobby loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for his family and friends. His warm personality was contagious to everyone he met. He would do anything he could to make everyone around him feel loved and happy. He was a friend to all.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am on February 4th, 2023 at the Christ Episcopal Church at 206 Cypress in Matagorda, Tx. Family and friends are welcome to gather across the street for a cold one in his honor at the Fireman's Hall (683 Market St) after the memorial service from 12:00-3:00pm.
