This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Bogdan Gorski, 85, born on August 30, 1926 and passed away on June 13, 2012. We will remember him forever.
 
Bogdan was born in Toczewiki Poland in 1926. He proudly served in the Polish Forces under British command from January 1944 to May 1947. He recalled stories from this time with frequency and pride. His medal entitlements included from Polish Army The Bronze Cross of Merit with swords, Cross of Monte Cassino No 38305 and from eh British 1939-45 Star, Italy Star, the War Medal 1939 - 45.

He lived in Markham, Ontario with his loving partner, Wanda. They enjoyed playing at the casinos, visiting with friends and their time together. They have been companions for 21 years.

He is survived by his partner Wanda, his daughters, Dorothy and Elizabet, granddaughters, Kasia, Kimberly, Krysta, his stepson Richard (Darby) and step-grandchildren Alexander, and Cassandra and Riza. 

You will be missed. 

At his request there will be no visitation or service.  Donations in his memory can be made to the Arthritis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
