This picture was taken at Aiden's 6th Birthday party. Sept. 2013. Grandmom Bon Bon & Pa Pa Oscar were able to come visit with us as they have done many years past. It was a tradition my Mom started on Aiden's 1st Birthday. Mom's birthday was Aug. 31st which is so close to Aiden's(Sept. 2nd). Mom said this was the best birthday gift she could ask for(to be with us) to celebrate their birthdays together every year. We feel so blessed as we were able to do this for many years. This past year was extra special! Mom had caught pneumonia the December prior and we almost lost her. They had to put her into an induced coma. Those of you that do not know this is extremely hard to come out of and you have to learn how to walk and do everything all over again. The doctors told me even if she got help with psychical rehab it will take most about 18 months to fully recover. My mom did not get help with rehab and still was up walking and more with in 8 months. THAT IS AMAZING!! I know it was so hard for Mom to travel to come see us but she did it and did it well. I feel so blessed for that time. Thank you Mom!! You are my SUPER HERO!!
