Was so sorry to hear of your passing so many memories of you when I was young. To the family some of you I haven't seen in years but my heart still goes out to you. Your mother was a sweet loving caring woman. One of a kind. RIP Aunt Bonnie heaven gained a angel.

Life gives us so much opportunity for happiness, but it also reminds us to take nothing, and no one, for granted. After a life filled with love and troubles, my mother Bonnie has passed away.

Throughout her time here, above all, she believed in the power of kindness and unconditional love for her children, family, friends, and even strangers. My mom never lost this belief even though others would hurt her, because she gave people the benefit of the doubt. She believed in the true value of loving thy neighbor, and always reminded me never to use things like money, intelligence, popularity, talent, or faith to feel superior to others.

People have asked me now and then why I insist on being hopeful about humanity and the ability of love to always win in the end. My response: it's what my mom taught me. Rest in peace, mom. I love you.

"She’s the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street.
She’s the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself.
She’s the cool hand on your brow when you’re not feeling well.
She’s your breath in the air on a cold winters’ day.
She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow.
She is Christmas morning.
Your mother lives inside your laughter.
She’s the place you come from, your first home.
She’s the map you follow with every step you take.
She’s your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy.
But nothing on Earth can separate you.
Not time. Not space. Not even death."
