I will always remember the times papa would be teaching some of us granddaughters how to fish. To this day I still won't take the fish off the hook without a pair of gloves on. I remember a photo of papa, Jessi, Brandi, and I by the pond. Papa using a cane pole to teach us girls how to catch a fish. I guess that was his way of teaching us girls to have patience and to have something to do with us girls.
