Bhut Boy ngumtshana komalume noAunty bakhe!!!Wow so much love in our family homes when he was around indescribable !The catching up between him and his uncles .I remember as a young girl when my late uncle would arrive with a letter from him. My dad (his uncle) would be so happy to let us know that all was well with umtshana wakhe. We later had a landline ,and every Xmas there would be a call from him wishing malume and family Happy Xmas all the way from London!
He then started to visit us eBede. One would see him walking proudly from one Mdudu house to another. And this one visit I was at home so I assisted with the cooking. So I made food which I thought he would like. Little did I know the old man misses South African food that he grew up eating. Then one day because it was very hot I decided to make umphokoqo namasi( pap and sour milk) and wow he was so pleased!!! He then went on to tell me that Aunty Nofikile promised to bake irostile (Rostear cookies) so he was also looking forward to that. With most visits he would bring his camera. He took pictures of his uncles and aunts and he would make sure he sends these back to South Africa. When he is quiet my dad would start saying he ubhut Boy is quiet. Then he visits ,we would all get details about his visit up until the very last one! So many lessons and so much love!!! Forever in our hearts Jolinkomo,Mphankomo ,Qengeba!Ugqatso ulufezile! Now the ball is in our court.
