The world keeps turning and time flies by.
It’s birthday time again.
I started a gratitude journal on thanksgiving , using the black leather book you used to write notes for Rosy and Red.
I’m trying to remember why you have two ears and one mouth . I hope somehow you know .
Happy Birthday

Another year has gone by . Not a day to remember your birthday but a day to remember ur departure.
It’s true that everything changes even the things you Hope never will.
We shared favorite memories at dinner. We all have so many but I still love the cuff links story . Hoping your energy surrounds us.
Still learning to listen .

It’s been quite a year staying home with Mother and Ellen . You might have enjoyed that time and added some humor to our at home time.
Rosy left us this year . I hope she came straight to you and you two haven’t been apart since. She, like you, is missed everyday.
Time seems to be going faster . We talk more about you snd things we remember .
It keeps you with us . No worry about being forgotten.

What would 33 have looked like?
I see you healthy and happy with a special person of your own who , of course , would be crazy about me , Ellen , Dana , Daniel & Grandma . Not to mention Poodles
You would love our new place. What’s missing here is you .
Remembering your humor and your bright smile today .
Happy Birthday

5 years........maybe you could tell me where time goes .......I truly don't know,
Time has passed, missing you has not .
I’m training the puppies for therapy dogs , hope to help kids and older people who need those big dark eyes and someone to listen who never judges. Trying to learn from all the mistakes I’ve made .
Love you always

Thinking how you would love Red's little puppies . We're bringing ours home this weekend. It wouldn't take long for it to be watching for you at the window just like Red did.

I weeded your garden yesterday , painted the bench bright yellow , and put pots of flowers beside it with temple bells. I've made it colorful like you ;)
Red laid down beside the garden the entire time.
Sometimes he sits there all by himself for the longest time. He misses you too. Three years , I can still hardly believe you're gone.

This was Brad's first opera.  We weren't sure if he would like it or not, but ended up he loved it and had a great time - it was very good times!

Brad loved Red so much and Red absolutely adored Brad. We used to compete over who loved Red more.  And we texted each other cute pictures of Red all of the time. This is one of those pics.

We were on vacation and drove through Cherokee for old times and Brad wanted some boiled peanuts.  So, we stopped and I heard bells and saw the Indian walking and so wanted a picture of Brad with him. I just waved Brad to go stand by the sign, he didn't know what I was trying to do, but after he saw the pic he thought it was really funny. :)
