I took a fruit platter and cupcakes to the cardiac wing for the nurses and doctors. They remembered me instantly and talked about the difference Brady made on the cardiac ward. Since Brady was there, they have had more organ donations than ever before. Brady still continues to move others even a year after his death. I didn't know Brady that well but I did know his sister and mother and that's how I know Brady's story. Let me say that Brady's story touched me in my heart in a great way and I will be forever changed because of his story. Brady will always be in my heart! <3

I remember when I met Brady for the first time, when Kate was moving into the dorm that I was a RA at.  I also met Terry, Kate's mom.  Terry explained to me what the family had been going through in regards to Brady's health.  Brady was a sweetheart, asked me how I liked IU, and told me how excited he was for his sister to be starting college.

Kate took this picture as one of Brady's senior pictures for high school.  When I heard that Brady had passed away, I turned to my Bible to help me deal with the loss of such a wonderful young man.  While looking through scripture, I found this verse from 2 Corinthians.  I added it to the picture and posted it on Brady's Buddies facebook page, hoping that it would help his family and friends as it did me.
