Brady, age 18, started his next mission after succumbing to his life-long battle with uncontrolled seizures on Sept. 3, 2010. Brady was born on Nov. 22, 1991, at approximately 9:00 a.m. in Provo, Utah. He was entrusted into his parents' care about 12 hours later by a loving birth mother.
Brady absolutely loved life. His infectious smile and his big brown eyes could tell you everything he wanted you to know. He loved being outside. He loved anything to do with hunting. Big bucks were his favorite. His happy "squeal" let you know he was feeling pure joy and happiness in the moment. He enjoyed going anywhere with his dad, whether it was at work "bossing the job," "cruising for chicks" or looking at big trucks. He delighted in the normal brotherly relationship of pestering and teasing " and deeply loved his brothers even though he hated to admit it. He touched more lives than we will ever know and his influence has made all of us want to be better people.
Brady left behind his Mom and Dad, Darrell and Lori Thompson; his brothers Jordan Thompson, 22, Luke Thompson, 15, and Austin Thompson, 13; and grandparents Lawrence and Ruth Thompson, and Ron and Janice Simons; and literally hundreds of loving family and friends. Very special thanks to Sharon Jones, Brady's nurse, and our good friends at the Daily Herald who helped share Brady's story, and all those who have been a part of his life and gave him joy.
Brady, we love you forever. You changed our lives more than we'll ever be able to express. We know that you are still happy and whole again. We miss you! Happy hunting!
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at the Lindon 5th Ward chapel, located at 610 West, 100 South, Lindon. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 7 p.m. at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been opened at Western Community Bank (with offices in Orem, Pleasant Grove and Alpine) in Brady's honor, for those who would like to contribute to help offset the remaining costs of his health care. The account is under the name of his mother, Lori Thompson.

Tributes
Leave a tributeI just wanted you to know that I was only joking whenever I teased you about giving me the Chicken Pox six weeks before Uncle Marv and I got married. It was a bond I enjoyed having with you and it makes for a great story...
I wasn't joking, however, when I used to tell you that I wanted your eyelashes and dimples. We miss you already, handsome boy!

Had to accomplish EVERYTHING
Brady made sure all was accomplished before he passed away. He finished filming with BYU tv the documentary about him. He went and lead the pledge of alligence for the Make a Wish Ducky Derby (with help because the night before he had over 30 grand mals). He had to fulfill all. He went hunting for deer with his dad. He went to his brothers school to meet his teachers and say Hi to his favorite Principle. He let his mom feed him 6 pieces of pizza and watched Harry Potter #2. He had Graduated from seminary, had earned his Eagle. He made sure he told his brothers he love them with words or with that gorgeous smile of his. He gave all he had. He is the perfect example of pure love for others. His smile said all. The lacking vocabulary words didn't get in the way of what he wanted to say. He is missed still. His example to the others his age will help them through their lives with how they were able to serve him. He was kind. I miss you Brady but I know you are finally accomplishing the things that your body made it impossible to do. I know you are running and being the missionary you dreams to be... love mom
