Our Lives Changed Forever

June 27, 2014

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. A part of us went with you, the day God took you home. If tears could build a stairway and heartaches make a lane, we'd walk our way to heaven and bring you back again. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still, in our hearts you hold a place no one could ever fill.
June 30, 2006 our lives changed forever more, never to be the same again. Today I entrust my life to God and my savior Jesus Christ and in that, knowing I will see and know my "B" again one day. Celebrate Brandon's life...fore he would only wish you all love.

As an Artist...His Loves

June 27, 2014

Brandon's greatest love was music and song, creating cutting edge beats and rhythms to words from the heart. One of the greatest gifts he left us all were these music recordings of passion, frustration, disappointment and love for the world in which he lived. He was an Artist... creating, writing, inventing and envisioning. Like all true artists they see things others don't, as an audio engineer, he heard things others do not and as all successful people he tasted his own kind of success. He loved and held dear a love for his savior Jesus Christ, his mother and father and a special love for the men who where put in his life to led by example...his brothers. He loved the great outdoors and was fortunate enough to experience and enjoy this love towards the end of his life. Designing and building "Low Rider" bikes, songwriting, creating, animals, little children, the less fortunate, a good deal, good friends and the beauty of a woman and so much more, too many to mention....fore my son LOVED!

Brandon's Advanced Education

June 27, 2014

Brandon, is an alumni graduate  of the Conservatory of Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Arizona and possesses degrees and certification in Audio and Recording Engineering. At the time of his death he was looking forward to a career in the music, television production and entertainment field. In Tempe, Arizona Brandon experienced life on his own, it was his first time away from his childhood home and he did it with vigor, maturity and his sidekick "Halfpint" of Rocky Road a Pedigree Miniature Pinscher that he had purchased a few years prior for himself. It was very much like Brandon to make decisions on his own, unbeknownst to anyone until it was said and done, he had been like that since the age of 5. It was his life and he lived it his way....we were just there for the ride.

Brandon's in High School

June 27, 2014

Brandon started and completed his freshmen year of high school in Yukon Public Schools but ventured out to experience other avenues of education and did just that through Putnam City North High School one of the academically and prestigious high schools in the Oklahoma Public School System, he went on to be a 2000 graduate alumni of Putnam City North High School. He exceled at Putnam City North High School producing above average to superior academic grades and there exposure and encouragement in the arts and entertainment field blossomed. He entertained classes to prepare himself for a higher education in this field. During his tenor at Putnam City North High School he purchased his first car a classic 1971 Cutlass Supreme and that car was the beginning of an appreciation, vast collection and love for the restoration of classic automobiles. He went on to own a 1969 Chevrolet Truck, a Chevrolet Monte Carlo and a Buick Regal. He strived until his death towards the restoration of these automobiles. His choices in personal automobiles was a bit more practical owning an Isuzu Mini Van and a Subaru Wagon, these were geared for the transport of audio and recording equipment, which was to be his life's career. He experienced his first prom, choosing to wear an all white zuit suit, matching felt hat and gray alligator skin shoes and of course his first love as well. These kinds of choices for himself is the way Brandon lived his life, he was a decision maker.

Brandon's Middle School Career in Yukon

June 26, 2014

Brandon attended Yukon Middle School, 7th and 8th grades. All throughout his tenor in Yukon Public Schools his academic grades were above average and superior and he continued on that path throughout his entire school career. At this time in his life is when he came in touch with what became his greatest love, music and song and developed some lifelong friendships. Despite coming from a family of sport enthusiasts he was able to find his way! He spent alot of his time in those years building makeshift studios in our garage, writing songs, drawing illustrations of inventions that came to his mind and dreaming of a fulfilled life and how to achieve it. He spent most of his time with his family, that he loved and needed at that time in his life and it brought me great joy to hear and see a master of ideas at work.

Brandon's Born...June 6, 1981

June 25, 2014

Brandon was born on a Saturday at 12:27 p.m. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at Baptist Hospital. At a bouncing 10 lbs. and 8 ozs. and 21 ins. tall, he was already breaking records. Brandon was graced with his father's name and was born with alot of dark hair that remained that way throughout his lifetime. Hungry and a perfect baby in the sense, he slept throughout the night from the time we first brought him home. God blessed his parents Cliff and Rita Shearer and two older brothers Craig M. Shearer and Cory B. Shearer on that day with his arrival, we welcomed his presence and could not wait to bring him home and start our lives with Brandon.
