I still feel like ur just at the hospital and will be home soon. Its getting hard to watch all the new shows we used to watch together(Chicago Fire, Shameless, Greys Anatomy) I think the pets think ur on a long trip like the time we went to Alberta. Its hard to be around someone for 10 yrs, day after day, and just wake up and realize ur gone. I still havent realized it yet. I love n miss u

my mom Brenda was a special woman she helped all and and cared for every.she was very strong and had the best will and hope ever .she was loved aswell by all and those that knew her will miss her dearly. she was very strong and fought with cancer for a long time she makes me proud of who i am and i will love her always

Miss you more and more each day Mum, Knowing you're not a simple phone call away is the hardest thing to cope with. I will cherish the good times we all had while we were growing up and share those special moments with my kids when I have them. I love you more than life itself Brenda Ann Gallant <3

Grocery Shopping

I remember when my twin brother & I were just kids, Mum would allow us to miss a day of school to go grocery shopping with her, We looked forward to this day every month not because we got to miss school but it was always that time we got to spend quality time with our mother in town. At that time we had usually lived far in the country so outings in town were scarce. I recall going to either the CO-OP on Queen St or we'd go to the old IGA in the Chtown mall. At that time the store was very small and the aisles were named after streets in Chtown such as Kent St, University Ave, Grafton St, etc. Each and every time after we finished shopping we would usually finish our outings with a visit to the Zellers restaurant for a bite to eat. How I miss these days.
