Another year Brian since you left us, I can’t believe it has been 6 years since you went to be with your dad xx. Probably getting it in the neck from that mother of mine too xx RIP xxxx

Always thinking of you Brian. You are a massive inspiration to all of us and we all miss you every day. Sending all our love to you and Babs. Keep dancing together in Heaven just as you did on our wedding day ..... til we meet again. love The Flowers Family. XXXXX
Happy Birthday Step-dad Brian, or father in law as you confusingly called yourself. Still miss the banter and someone to jokingly swear at mam with (although Chris did a good job of stepping in). I hope you are looking after mam for us, me and Josh miss you both loads. Love you xxx Julie & Josh xx
RIP Brian, you are now at rest and out of pain. Remembering the good times we all had in "The Bell" have a drink up there with my lovely Fred, tell him how much I miss him, he will still be telling his awful jokes. Your Barbara will be looked after by family and friends, and I know you will be there for her, always in her heart xxx
Brian. You are my soul brother and I will always love you dearly. You looked after me like a little sister when we did the IDH'S. You took care of me and made sure I ate a decent meal if I had a bad show. We laughed and joked and we were the champions when we worked Gretna Green in the snow and put anti freeze in the bucket when we worked the slicer @ Christmas Time. Remember blasting our song out by "Queen on the way home. "We are the champions". You will always be my champion and a best friend. Now you can heal and rest after your terrible illness and when you feel better again, continue to help everyone have a great time with you around them in heaven. R.I.P. Brian Turnbull LOVE Sharon Thomas Flowers and family XXXXX
TURNBULL - Brian Dearly loved husband of Barbara, passed away peacefully at the age of 65 after a long illness. Reunited with father Derrick. Sweet is the sleep that ends all pain, I wouldn't wake you to suffer again. 'Til we meet again - your Babs xxx
Hey Brian, I know you said 'no flowers' but I think you would be disappointed in me if I did as I was told. I got up to ULL as quick as I could for our final banter and was happy I got to spend your last few hours with you. I am relieved that your pain has now all gone but that won't stop me from missing you. Have an extra large drink with your dad and I will be there to raise a glass to you on 16th. R.I.P. Love you xx
Now at peace and no longer suffering - reunited with your dad, and looking down on us all. You will always be there in all our hearts. Sleep well Brian - lots of love from Chris, Caroline, Jess and Isabelle xxx
Brian's funeral will take place on Tuesday 16th August @ 1.30pm. His wishes were for no flowers please. He would love it if you could either wear a football shirt or a brightly coloured shirt rather than black, as he wants lots of happiness rather than tears.

Well Brian what can I say. You'll be up there with your Dad and no doubt having a whiskey with Bobby Robson. You always had my back looking after a fellow Geordie. Your wit was great you always had a sense of humour. I know you're no longer in pain and that's a comfort to me. Keep looking down on Babs and bless us grafters as we take to the box. See you on the other side. All my love Angie ❤️❤️
