Brittani Marinsky passed away the morning of August 30th, 2020 from gastric cancer. At her bedside were her husband, Paul Marinsky, her father Ray Wilton, a few close friends, and the photograph of her mother.
Brittani left joy and kindness wherever she went. She was and still remains a bright light and guiding star as she lived her life setting examples for others. Brittani was a caring, strong, empathetic woman who loved her husband, fur family, friends, and her students more than words can express. She was always there for "her" kids. Brittani didn't hold grudges and always did her best to turn bad situations into their most positive light. As a chronic illness warrior, Brittani helped many within the EDS, POTS, MCAS communities understand their illnesses better and how to cope with them. Brittani's ability to absorb medical information was unparalleled. She was always ready to offer a suggestion about braces, comorbidities, or just a good laugh whenever one of her "zebra" buddies needed it.
Brittani was an avid diver and loved the beach. Her favorite color was purple and she loved penguins. During her last days, she was surrounded by purple, by flowers, and by a little jar of California beach sand. Brittani knew she was and is so loved by those she has now left behind.
