On a beautiful day in August, a rose began to bloom, BRITTANY DANIELLE FOSTER. Brittany was born August 28, 1985 to Adrienne Yvette Foster and Danny J. Jackson, Sr. in Montgomery, AL. Brittany was loved by all who knew her and many hearts were touched. On Sunday, August 17, 2014, Jesus came and picked this rose from the rose garden.
Brittany began her education at Union Springs Elementary School, she later attended school in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Mandeville High School in Mandeville, LA with honors. Upon graduation from high school, Brittany attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry. She also currently served in the United States Air Force Reserve. She was employed with Weyerhaeuser.
Brittany was very special to her family. She was blessed with the opportunity to have two very special fathers in her life. To her, Danny and Carl were simply dads. The bond she shared with them would never be broken. She had brothers and sisters who were so proud to have her as a big sister. Her grandmothers meant everything to her. To her, Gloria was simply Gramps and Mary was Madea. She referred to her mother as Ma and loved her aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brittany is preceded in death by her beloved grandfather, Charlie Jackson, Sr.; great-grandparents, Johnnie and Lolean Raybon and aunt, Addie Jackson Glover.
She leaves the following love ones behind to cherish her memories: parents, Adrienne (Carl, Sr.) Ivy, Mandeville, LA; Danny (Angela) Jackson, Sr., Montgomery, AL; siblings, Danny “DJ” Jackson, Jr., D’Maree Jackson, Carl “CJ” Ivy, Jr., Cree Ivy and Arianna Jackson; grandmothers that she loved and adored, Mary Jackson and Gloria Foster, Union Springs, AL; step-grandmother, Ann Flowers, Montgomery, AL; aunts, Bessie Still and Dorothy Hall, both of Union Springs, AL, Gizell McKenzie, Lithonia, GA, Shirley Germany, Glenwood, VA and Marceie McWhorther, Montgomery, AL; uncles, Arthur (Marie) Jackson, Sr., Montgomery, AL, Charlie (Carolyn) Jackson, Jr., Raymond (Maxine) Jackson, Irvin (Lela) Foster, all of Union Springs, AL, Terry (Annie) Jackson, Sr., Hattiesburg, MS, Thomas Foster, Cedric Foster, both of Union Springs, AL and Marcus (LaShon) Foster, Montgomery, AL; along with a host of very special cousins, other relatives and friends.
