I did not know this gentleman but I'm very impressed with him and all he accomplished during his time on earth. Due to Dede's fondness for the outdoors, Oregon history, fishing, hiking, gardening, and travel, he and I have much in common. Next time I fish the Rogue I will think of him and what the fishing must have been like "back in the day". I did not know Dede, but I'm sure his family and friends know they were lucky to know him.
