Brody Beaver Kantapin passed away peacefully in his sleep March 30th, 2017. He was the most special Pembroke Welsh Corgi anyone who ever encountered him got to know. He loved to play fetch. He was a soccer star. Anything you threw at him, he threw it right back at you. Literally.
Brody loved to model. He sat patiently and smiling as he was dressed up in wigs, costumes, jewelry, and sunglasses. He loved the limelight and he didn't have to do anything besides show up to get it.
Brody was a wanderer - the sound of children playing often drew him to them to see what was going on. He loved having his chest rubbed and when you stopped he let you know with the nudge of his nose on your hand that he expected you to keep petting him.
Brody loved music and was always smiling during car rides while anyone in the car sang out loud to the radio. He was a kind, loving, adorable, and tough little man. If you ever saw him romping in the snow, hopping like a bunny, dancing in circles, you'd have fallen in love immediately. Joy radiated off of Brody.
Brody will forever be remembered all over. In the grass he rolled in, the snow he munched on, the squeaky toys he destroyed and left in his wake. His smile, the cow sounds he made when wanting attention, his little legs flopped out behind him. The way he swam like an otter and protected his human mum ferociously.
Brody lives on in the memories of those who loved him.
I'll see you later, Bro, when we cross the Rainbow Bridge together.
