His Life

A LIFE WELL LIVED

December 5, 2013

Bryan C. Rodgers passed away at the age of 45. Bryan’s health had been in decline recently, but his positive attitude never waivered. Bryan had a big heart and was a man of many talents.

He was the high school baseball and softball assignor for the San Fernando Valley area, a respected multi-sport official who excelled in baseball, softball, basketball, football and volleyball. Bryan also was a long-time sports correspondent for the Los Angeles Daily News.

Bryan's first love was his wife Michelle, who he truly appreciated. His second love was mentoring countless new officials, helping them learn, blossom & thrive was his passion and calling.

Bryan was a man of many talents and responsibilities, blessed in many ways, however he was not rich of earthly things. He was great friend, companion, brother and godsend to very many of us. He fought the good fight. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace!
