In the months before Bryan's passing, he took his mom on a road trip, driving long hours to see the solar eclipse. Bryan had always been fascinated by phenomena of the universe and found much of man's interaction with the world to be amusing.
"Imagine this design problem - Design something that makes oxygen, sequesters carbon, fixes nitrogen, distills water, accrues solar energy to make fuel, makes complex sugars and food, creates microclimates, changes colour with the seasons and self replicates.... Why don’t we knock that down and write on it?"
Bryan fancied this quote by William McDonough and hoped for a brighter future for mankind and our planet. May he forever rest in peace.
