Remembering Bryant
May 26, 2021
This is how I always want to remember Bryant. For his vibrant, funny and fun personality. The last time he was in my presence was at a candlelight vigil for my grand daughter where at the end he expressed wanting to turn his life around and reach his goals. The most touching of all is when his mother read his journal at his service. When he talked about taking care of his mother so he wouldn’t have to struggle moved me to tears because that is what he told me as a younger child. He always told me “ I’m the man of the house and I’m going to take care of my mother. Only God knows our length of time on this earth and I’m thankful for the moments in time I got to share with him and his family. Everytime I saw him in the community he would always give me a hug or tell me hello with a bright smile and those little dimples. A life cheated out of a future. It’s good to keep his memory alive because his life meant something not only in society but to all those he encountered. I pray justice will prevail and peace will come to the family. I wish health, wealth, healing and blessing to his family. Most of all love hard and be strong and take nothing for granted. Live each day thankful that God has given us another day because Bryant didn’t get that chance. Forever on our hearts & minds ❤️❤️
