We knew McKay from the WS Club. He was always polite, helpful and greeted everyone with a smile. He would even help by filling in for tennis clinics. We are so sorry for your loss.

My heart is broken for the Hulsey family and the other families. Working with Caleb was such a pleasure. He was such a hard worker and always respectful to everyone. I admire these families and all you have accomplished. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Caleb & Mackay,
You two were the 2 older kids that were kind to me, played with me, and proved that not all teenage boys are mean! :) I remember having Superbowl parties at our house in Spartanburg and always being the only girl. All my parents friends had sons, until Heather joined us for the Superbowl party! Caleb, you and Heather were on our couch, and I, Harrison and the other kids were begging the older kids to play manhunt with us. When you agreed, it made our game x10 more fun. Caleb, Mackay, you both cared about me and all the other kids playing around when you had much more “cooler” options.
Thank you for playing with all of us. Thank you for including us in your fun. I am grateful your hearts stayed young.

Mackay, my mom & I used to see you running near the West Side Club. We always honked and waved at you when we drove by. We not only caught a glimpse of your weight-loss progress, we caught a glimpse of your journey to happiness. I am so glad you reached that goal, we are all so incredibly proud of you. As the months went by, your confidence grew and your smile got bigger and bigger. When you are remembered, you are remembered as goal-driven and happy in life.

I am so thankful the 4 of you are together. I am so thankful that you all finished your life happy, adventurous and doing what you all loved. You all may have gone too soon, but each of you has made a lasting impression on everyone.
Please watch over your family as they start this journey of healing, and forever. Until you reunite, we love & will miss you all. Rest in Peace.

Fly high!
Love,
Taylor

I am still grasping for words...so please forgive me & my european brain thoughts...
Caleb and I met at KAR Dance competitions.
I just knew that whenever I needed HELP
& a LAUGH (yes I enjoyed giving him a hard time lol) I hunted down Caleb to get the show/display  lights straight for the countless events-days and hours we worked together under the same roof .. dang it... as a perfectionist that I am he knew how to FIX IT and SET IT UP RIGHT.
I also had the honor to share meals and laughter under their families roof and meet his then fiancé...what a gorgeous soul.....
I always felt blessed being arround them & their family and being showered with their humble kindness... I know the kids are together now as they were arround me.. I am blessed beyond words that our paths have crossed as I will always honor our friendship...
dang it CALEB you should habe had a FB profile so I could have stalked you more  ... till we meet again.. Thomas

Dear Caleb and MacKay,

My heart breaks for those left here in the physical world grieving for you, but especially for those who loved you the most- your family.

You both grew into fine young men and for that your parents should be proud. Even though way to short, you both lived life to the fullest with your beautiful, kind and loving ladies by your sides. Our loss on Earth is great, but the four of you are forever young and together with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. One day we will see you again. Until then, watch over your family and friends and be their guiding light.

I am honored to have watched you grow to be the fine men every parent hopes their sons will be. Rest In Peace Caleb, MacKay, Heather and Kirstin. You will be missed forever.

Love,
Laura

Caleb,

We have gone out to eat hundreds of times over the past few years, and I will never forget the laughs and the looks across the table when we never failed to order the same thing..

I will never forget the laughs or the head shakes or the eye rolls at every stupid joke I made. But maybe that’s why you were so loved by all, always smiling and making everyone you meet feel like you care and like they belong.

On July 10th, I was invited to play golf with Alan, Caleb, Mackay, Kirsten and Harrison.. If I could only know at the time what a privilege that day would be. I got to see a young man who loved his girlfriend.. a dad who loved his sons.. the love and competitiveness between brothers.. and the happiness of a family..

I pray every day for this family, and the families of Heather and Kirsten.. their love will never go away, and the love for them just the same.. I love you all

My brother my heart aches for you and Heather. Just know I'm here anytime of day you need me for anything. One of my favorite memories was back at Smith music on the deck in front of my shop, when your son asked why Paul had girl shoes on. You and I busted out.
I love you brotha mon.

Mackay and Caleb throughout my childhood became like brothers to me, through my years at Oakbrook me and Mackay grew closer and closer and we stayed close all the way through our high school years. I just wanted to share a few memories of the times we shared together. One of my favorite memories was the Fripp Island trip in middle school where Caleb, Mackay, And Alan took me deep sea fishing where me and Mackay got super sea sick. I’ll never forget Mackay looking at me and saying how he wished we took that medicine to keep our stomachs together. Another memory was of Caleb, one thing we always loved to do was play paintball at Red Fox. I’ll never forget Alan always lighting me up, but this one day Caleb was in a tower and shot someone in the back of the head and they fell down. It may not sound super funny now but Caleb burst into a laugh that I can still hear today. From the hours upon hours of us sitting in the basement or computer room binge playing video games to the crazy times out in the pasture to the simple conversations we had there isn’t a single memory I will ever take for granted. There are so many more I’d love to share but it would take me a week to type them all out. Still sending prayers to the Hulsey’s, Dillard’s, and Wright families as they deal with this unspeakable tragedy.

I never met your kids, Alan. If they are anything like their dad (I'm sure they were), they were special and genuinely great. Love you, brother.

There a no words to describe any of this and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. 8 years ago I walked into Palmetto to start a career but walked into a new family that I cherish and love to this day. We became brothers right off from the start and I'll be forever grateful for the time I got to spend with you and the memories made. I'm going to miss that infectious smile that would always light up the room regardless of the day. Caleb, I love you brother and will miss you every single day! Alan and Heather Hulsey and all families involved, my heart and soul aches for what you are having to go through. Please know that my family as well as your PSW family is with you all times and here for you. Love you all

Caleb, you were one of my favorite people on this planet. We spent hours gaming afterwork, more than a few times till 4 in the morning. I still remember the laughing from you coming back to the base in Rust, seeing all the mspaint level art I had created, because hey if our characters are gonna spend a lot of time there, it may aswell be interesting for them.
One of my favorite memories was in Boston, the excitement that bloomed across your face when I responded I had never had Chicken Tikka Masala. You stated we had to have it that night, cause I liked spicy food to much to never have enjoyed that specific delicacy.
I will always miss you, no other person has ever made me feel so valuable as a person, you had that warmth, care, and character to always try and make the lives of those around you, a little brighter and more fulfilled.
I love you so much, and hope that I can continue your legacy of making the world better for those around.
      Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen.
