Mr. Calvin J. Smith of West Point, Georgia was born Saturday, March 28th, 1931 in Clay County, AL.  He was welcomed home on Friday February 8th, 2013 by his parents, Calvin and Mae Smith and his wife, Mae Dean Smith.

Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be held Sunday, February 10, 2013, at 3:00 PM EST from Bethel Baptist Church, West Point, Georgia.  Reverend Kenneth Cole will officiate. 

Interment will be in Marseilles Cemetery, West Point, Georgia. 

The family will greet friends Saturday evening from 6:00 PM EST until 7:30 PM EST at McCarthy Funeral Home.

The family requests donations to West Georgia Hospice in lieu of flowers.

Dear Becky and Debbie,

Tony and I were so sorry to hear about Mr. Calvin passing. He was so special to us and I have so many childhood memories of him. I will never forget the pranks he and my dad played on each other. We will keep you in our prayers.
