This memorial was created in honor of Camryn Lain Stockford. Camryn was born on December 15, 2018 in Las Vegas and passed in her mothers' arms on April 9, 2021 in Vancouver, WA. She battled a rare denovo genetic mutation of SCN8A and was a fighter until the end. During her short time Camryn enjoyed music, cuddling, and bath time. Camryn was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family. She is survived by her parents Alanna and Alex, her brother Ronan, and three loving grandparents
Camryn was well-traveled despite her short time. She met so many people in Las Vegas NV, Los Angeles CA, Portland OR, Vancouver WA, and Seattle WA. She also traveled to Mt. Zion UT and Rockaway Beach OR. She met friends, family, doctors, and medical staff -- one thing that everyone shared in common is that they were drawn to her. She had many, many people who loved and cared very deeply for her. Camryn was a strong warrior yet so calm, peaceful, and very dignified. She was also a dainty princess. So many people have learned and grown from having her in their life.
A suggested way to honor Camryn is to think of somewhere beautiful to visit (whether a park, the beach, or wherever that is to you) and leave a flower, painted rock, or some small pretty item for Camryn and to speak some kind words to her. We (Mommy & Mom) are planning to do this on Saturday May 29.
