ForeverMissed

This memorial website was created in memory of my amazing and larger than life daddy, Cantor Nathan Zimri, a Holocaust survivor. My daddy was truly my hero, best friend, my inspiration and my rock. My heart is beyond broken without him. My now wonderful sixteen year old Autistic son Zachary and I had the most incredible bond with him. It has been nearly five years since he has been gone and I think of him every second of every day. I have come to the realization that I will miss him for the rest of my life. The truth is a huge part of me died right with him and I know I will never be the same.

My amazing daddy came to this country alone and with nothing and yet he turned his dream of becoming a Cantor into a reality! In spite of losing eight brothers and sisters and his parents in the horrific Nazi death camps, he was truly the kindness, most selfless, most giving, warmest, funniest, and most resilient human being I have ever known. He was truly an angel here on Earth and I'm so incredibly thankful that G-D chose him to be my daddy!

My daddy touched the lives of many and is often referred to as a legend. I saw that Holocaust survivor in him each and every day, even while fighting terminal cancer! He inspired me like no other human being has ever inspired me, even evading evil to have that last ugly laugh until his very last breath.
