Carl Adam Farrow, 48, died February 17, 2020, at Meritus Hospital in Hagerstown, Maryland. A "firecracker baby," born on July 4, 1971, in Newark, Ohio, Carl was the son of Raymond Benjamin Farrow, Jr., and Rheon Yvonne Doyle Farrow.

Surviving are three dearly beloved sons, Tyler Ray Farrow of Baltimore, Maryland; Matthew Adam Farrow, and Nicholas Charles Farrow, both of Easton, Maryland. Also surviving are his sister, Laura Eve Farrow and her husband Bob Burtman of Hillsborough, North Carolina; and brother Raymond Benjamin Farrow III, and his wife Molly Bowman Farrow of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Carl was previously married to Julie Raab, of Easton, Maryland, to whom his family remains indebted for her love and support.

Carl is fondly remembered and loved by a circle of extended family and friends, including:

An amazing and supportive assembly of aunts and uncles: Mike and Susan Doyle of Grapevine, Texas; Peggy Farrow Vance of Alexandria, Virginia; Gail Brown of Marianna, Florida; Richard and Dixie Greene of Miami, Florida; Rando Doyle of San Antonio, Texas; and Theresa Sandifer Doyle of San Antonio, Texas.

A rowdy generation of cousins and a beloved nephew and niece:

  • Kristen Chipman of Zephyrhills, Florida; Trek Doyle of Austin, Texas; Glenn Kessler of Davie, Florida; Anne Vance Pelekasis of Alexandria, Virginia; and Richard Vance of Island Lake, Illinois;
  • Dylan Benjamin Bowman Farrow of Washington, D.C.; and Lucinda Glenn Bowman Farrow of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Two friends who always remained true: Alfred Thompson of Glen Burnie, Maryland; and Rush McCloy of Hanover, Maryland.

Carl worked for over 20 years in the call marketing field, serving as a call center manager and sales representative.

In the end, Carl was a hero, electing to be an organ and tissue donor. The family is grateful to the Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland, which provided comfort and support in Carl's final days and facilitated his gift of life to others in need.

A celebration of Carl's life will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Masonboro Baptist Church in Wilmington, North Carolina, at 3:00 p.m. Summer attire.
