J.M. Barrie said "God gave us memory so that we might have roses in December." Thank you Carl, my friend, for all the roses you have brought into my life. I will miss you.
He was always a happy man loved his coffee & others he met . So many people met Carl in person or knew him & he brightened up anyone he came around. He will be missed .
RIP Carl, we have never met except on the internet..You were always a friend, always good words for everyone and am sorry we never met. Never a cruel word and always positive. Carl we will miss you.
Carl had a heart bigger then this planet. He was always the first I would say gm to when I came online. He has been my friend, my confidant, my cheering squad. He always remembered little details and was there offering compliments and good advice, and when I was having a bad day he would be sending me a message asking if I was ok. He was one of my only friends with completely opposite political views who would discuss issues and not argue about them. He had a smile and kind word for all he met. Zippy, I hope the view up there is better then every lighthouse you ever climbed. Rest Easy my friend. I will miss you and everytime I hear Janice I will think of you.
Rest in Piece Carl, a true friend. Thank you the memories made in Mt. Airy N.C I have always enjoyed our mornings in Chat, and your great support. I always knew I could count on you.
I met Carl through Chat. I could always count on him to start my morning off. He was always the first one to greet me with such warm and friendly smile. He always made me feel welcomed and apart of the chat family. I’m sure going to miss his sense of humor, sarcasm, and just the sweet and lovable guy he was. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest In Peace my friend...see you on the other side. Love, Hugs, and Kisses!! Chyna Doll

I may not of met Carl in person but he always helped start my mornings. Always a hey or hi JB. I counted him as one of my very few online friends. I asked him for advice a couple of times, got to bust his chopps a few times in which he returned. We were blessed by his smile, his wisdom and most of all a man who was just great to be around. if anyone could find a way to get online from heaven, he will, to keep sharing his love. Rest in peace my friend
Carl and I were close friends back in the late 60's and early 70's. Where you found one you would find the other. He was always a good person. A highlight of a few times a years was putting my inflatable raft in the River Raisin on Austin Road and rafting down the river towards Monroe. Rest in peace Carl and you will not be forgotten. Your memory is quite a legacy. Rest well the friend of my youth.
