            My Cousin Carl

Dynamic and bold
Cared for me
as a child
Took me driving
in his sports car
When I was
small and scared
Looked forward
to seeing my cuz
His laughter, joking
filled our home
Handsome, charming
When I moved away
I missed your love
Hearing your voice
I would smile
We had a bond
the kind that
cousins do
Would connect
As the years
went by
Glad he met Jim
another brilliant smile
Together were a team
God bless you, Carl
I will miss you
Jim, will pray for you
God will give comfort
Someday, we will
all be together

Love you,
Your cuz,
Donna

Carl loved his birds. I will miss seeing him working on his plants and flowers. Carl was always the first one to welcome someone to the neighborhood. Rest in peace my friend.
