I just found out that Carla passed. I am so very sorry to hear that. I met Carla about 16 years ago when I was running a NYC women's tech organization. She was one of my most active members (out of about 4,000). I threw monthly events so that the members could meet each other (and support each other) and Carla always volunteered her time to help me set up, greet people and introduce people to each other - she had the gift of being able to talk to strangers and make them feel comfortable. I was delighted when she reached out years later to me to reconnect. Carla was smart and funny and a very giving person. I am stunned.

I offer my condolences to her family and friends. I'm so very sorry that she was taken away from us at such a young age. RIP, Carla.
