The son of Lidel C. and Temeta Dozier Cordero of Columbus, Carlos was born in Ft. Benning, GA.
A life-long resident of Columbus, he attended Kendrick High School and Academic Success Center. He was a member of Greater Peace Baptist Church.
Surviving other than his parents are a brother, Lidel C. Cordero, Jr; his grandmothers, Geraldine Dozier and Juanita Cordero; his aunts and uncles, Velisa Jones(Vincent), Philander Dozier, Phyllis Malone(Larry), Vickey Dozier, Pedro Cordero, Candido Cordero and Tracy Cordero; god brothers, David Foster and Jonathan Hunter; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
