Although I never had the honor to meet Carlos in person, I've heard nothing but positive things about him personally and the work he has done via our company.

When I think of Carlos, I think of a very warm & calm person.
Who was always willing to help when there were problems.
Who was driven, motivated and very good at his job.
Even when work had to be done in the evening or at the weekend.
Nothing was too much for Carlos.

But apart from his work, the most important thing in his life were his wife, son (of which he was so proud) and family. I whish them my sincere condolences and much strength.

I met Carlos in 2018 and since then I realized that he was someone you could count on, a 5 star person. I was privileged to be able to socialize with him the last time he came to Portugal in 2019.
The sudden loss was a shock to me.

I only worked with Carlos on a few occasions, quite some time ago. However, he made a great impression on me: he clearly knew what he was talking about and he was a dependable and pleasant colleague. I will remember Carlos as the friendly guy who always said hi when we passed each other in the hallways of the old Corelio building, even if we didn't closely collaborate. My sincere condolences go out to his family, his friends and his colleagues at both Polarizing and Mediahuis.

I know Carlos since he started working at Mediahuis. I think about 8 years ago. He was a great colleague but most of all he was also a good friend.

At work, he was someone you could rely on, someone you could build on. He was one of the few who got things done. We only needed a few words to understand each other. Even if we disagreed, at the end of the meeting we always found a solution that felt right for both of us. Carlos always thought of the long-term solution and wanted the best for the company. He never said I don’t understand or I can’t do that. He always found a solution, even to the most complex problems.

This is how I knew Carlos. Someone with great enthusiasm, who solves all problems, always willing to help, common sense and above all a warm personality.

He talked with much love about his family and he was very proud of his son. I want to express my condolonces to his wife, son, father, family and friends. I wish you much strength and courage. Carlos will be missed by a lot of people.
