Carolyn used to tell on me all the time and get me in trouble. What are big sisters good for. The story your about to read is true the names have not been changed to protect the innocent. What had happened was: in the late 80’s myself and Shantele was traveling on the interstate in IA in my first car a white Renault Alliance, with my mom and Carolyn following behind us in a black Saab. We were on our way to Ames IA (Iowa State Collage) to see my brother Anthony. I was doing about 70mph maybe 80mph about to go up a hill. I looked across the highway and coming down the hill was a highway patrol. He looked at me and I looked and him. What do I do. I had a couple of choices to make slow down naw if so I wouldn’t be telling this story. So I hit the gas I made it up the hill and an bout a quarter of the mile down the road was an exit I hit the exit and drove about a half mile down the road. The whole time Carolyn and mom were right behind me. I so so I took that road and pulled in behind a corn field and we waited. Mom said this “my baby son got me hiding from the law” I said we’ll be good we just need to wait about 30 minutes before we get back on the highway. So we waited and waited. Times up so we head back to the highway and proceed down the ramp and who do I see at the bottom of the ramp mister officer he look and me I look and him and kept going thank god he had some else pulled over. Good times. Carolyn you couldn’t tell on me that time because you was with me. Ha Ha Love Ya and miss ya...

  1. OMG,  I’m so in disbelief, I called you yesterday only the find out today you’re gone.  BiUT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.  You and I didn’t click when we first met at MHMRA, but within a week or so you are I were sisters.  When I called and I got no answer and no voice message I didn’t want to think of you not being here for real.  The last time we talked, I told you you need to answer my call, now you really won’t.  I LOVE YOU AND NO MORE PAIN
SENDING PRAYERS to the family .  I didn’t get a chance to meet you, but I’ve heard of you many times, so sorry  forour loss.
