Her Life
December 18, 2012

Carmen was born in Plattsburgh, and graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1951.  She later married Victor Lambert, who grew up just up the street, in 1953.  Together, they raised a family of four, Kathy, Vic, Cynthia, and Marilee.

Carmen worked for the New York Telephone Company from June 1951 to November of 1955 and later was an Avon representative. She also became a childcare provider in the days when it was still known as "baby-sitting." During those years, Carmen touched the lives of numerous children, whom she always remembered with pride and love.

Carmen was an avid book reader, enjoyed knitting and embroidering and loved cooking for her family, especially during the holidays. She also enjoyed many summers with her family at their camp on the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain.

Taken too soon, Carmen left many happy memories for her family and those who knew and loved her.  Deeply missed, Carmen remains in our hearts forever.  Rest in Peace, Carm/Mom!
