With fear we saw you suffering. We watched you fade away, even though you kept your smile we knew you were in great pain       
Our hearts were broken because there was not another thing we could do, you were fighting so hard to stay and we wanted that too
But, on that day we saw you sleeping so peacefully free from pain, we could not wish you back to see you suffer again       
Now they say there is a reason why things happen this way, they say that time will heal all the pain away
But neither time nor reason will ever change the way we feel today, for no one knows how many times we have broken down and cried       
Mama we need to tell you something so there isn't any doubt, we are all very sorry if we let you down
The biggest mistake we did was leave you alone that eerie night. We are sorry, oh so sorry, I can't say it enough
We never meant to leave you, you were always in our mind       
You're so wonderful to think of, but forever so hard to be without. You left us with beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you...your always by our side

Our mother... a strong spirited beautiful woman who knew how to love...with heart, mind, and soul.  Her smile gave us warmth and her words gave us hope.  Our mother taught us the meaning of kindness, the love of giving and the importance of forgiving.  She extended her joy of laughter to all of us and embraced us with the true meaning of unconditional and eternal love.  Our mother walked her days enjoying all new things and filled herself with the strength to conquer what lied ahead everyday.  She looked for us in everything she did and we learned to do the same.  Our mother will live within us forever and ever...We were really blessed to have her, as our mother.
