Today is my mom's birthday. How I miss her so much. There's new events in my life. My daughter Chloe graduated with her four-year degree a couple weeks ago ......how she would have love to see her granddaughter graduate with her four-year degree and she'll be working on her doctoral degree how proud she would be of her granddaughter especially knowing that she will be an independent woman. I hope that my mom can see her from heaven. My younger daughter MAMIE...HAS straight A's and is going to be a starter for the basketball team. Both of my daughters are beautiful on the inside and ARE independent intelligent women.

Mom.... you always told me never to depend on a man ....well I think my girls are well on the way for never depending on a man .I love you Mom and miss you more and more everyday.

Carole and I have been best friends since 1978. We moved into her neighbor in Bowie,Md. our kids grew up together and our dogs were playmates, too. Never a dull moment with this beautiful woman. Always dressed to the max, with clothes, makeup, etc. she was a great wife,a fantastic mother, a awesome homemaker and a super cook. Loved all of her family unconditionally. Loved animals,as well. Always a happy, fun loving lady. Open house are the "NEWtON'S" on Christmas Eve was a big blast. She would find a reason to party. When the last hurricane was coming thru last Sept. we were being evacuated and she invited us to her house. She has always been there for my family. My children calls Carol their second mother. I can not think about life without you,my friend. R.I.P. I love you.

Carol was a strong willed woman with a love for animals and a very compassionate heart. My fondest memory of Carol is the kindness she showed me after my sister passed away. I was riding my bike and she stopped her car in the road and asked me how I was doing. I was crying and told her I wasn’t doing very well. She got out of her car and came over and hugged and held me and told me how sorry she was. I will never forget her. My heart and prayers to Jeff and all of their family that Carol loved so much.

There are no words to express my feelings of loss for my longtime friend, Carol Newton. We have been best friends for about 50 years. Our kids grew up together. They look to her as a second mother. Kelly and I came to Florida to visit she and Jeff and bought our house . We wanted to enjoy retirement with them. Last year with the threat of the hurricane, we had to evacuate our home and they took us into their home. So many memories!!! Thanks for always being there for me. Things will never be the same. I love you. R I P my awesome friend..
