Ah, Carol... it's been thirty years since I last saw you and I've sometimes wondered whatever became of you and if you were OK. I always hoped you would find that elusive happiness; I suppose you did, especially knowing that your dears Shane and Amanda gave you grandchildren that filled your heart. It's been years, sweet Carol, but I still remember your soulful eyes and kind heart, and still have a poem you once wrote for me. We laughed a lot, didn't we?

I just wish to say a few things. It's been awhile since Carol has left and I still miss her presence daily. I only wish I could have 5-minutes with her to say and share my feelings. Near her end she didn't have faith in people that she reLly cared about. Once in a while she would reach out by phone and not get answered or no call back. Not just that but also with me because I couldn't talk like we used to when I was at work. She thought I wasn't interested like before when we spoke all night. The truth is I would give anything today to speak with her for 5-minutes. I see now she was so much a part of my life that is now an empty hole. Everything around me continuously reminds me of her and our happy times together. I only pray for your peace and happiness while you wait for our lord to come and raise your soul.

I'm so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I went to high school with her and I remember her beauty and talent. May she rest in peace.

I knew Carol only from high school, where she inspired me to imagine life beyond my mundane world. Her incredible artistic talents were unknown to me at that time, and I am in awe of the photos of her work that have been posted recently, and of the details of her life that have been shared. May she rest in peace.

Carol loved CoCo, our dog, she always described it as "it's like having Christmas every day"
Leaving selflessness behind, Carol deserves her peace, though I miss her very much. We experienced a life together. She was a honest free spirit. Goodbye my dear

I loved carol

July 30, 2016

Carol had some ups and downs but when she was happy, she was the most beautiful women in the world. She lived to dance, couldn't sing with a darn, loved her children and grandchildren very much. She was great with pets and very loyal to them. Honesty no matter what it was about even if she felt a tad of shame, she was spiritual because that is who she is.  She didn't always get along with some folks but I thought she was wonderful.  I only wish everyone else could know this.  She would make a decision and stick to it.

Birthday Brunch

July 28, 2016

On my 23rd birthday mom and grandma Joan took me and Eva, who was only 2 months old, to brunch at Adams Mill. Mom treasured every moment with Eva from the day that she was born. This memory is special to me because Grandma Joan was there too and having 4 generations of beautiful women together at 1 table is a gift.
