Caroline “Carol” (Ballou - Gerlack) Ricci of Houston, Texas, died on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at North Cypress Medical Center in Houston. Carol was 69 years old.

She was married, for twenty-one years to the love of her life, John Ricci Sr.

Born in Manchester, New Hampshire in 1946, she was the daughter of Erma D. Sullivan and Harold M. Ballou. She lived in New Hampshire for many years, until she moved to Connecticut. She resided in Hartford, Manchester, and Vernon, Connecticut until 2011, when she and her husband moved to Houston, Texas.

Caroline was employed for many years at The Manchester Village Motor Inn. and The Laurel Living Center, both in Manchester, Connecticut. Family and friends will remember Carol as a hard worker that knew how to be silly and enjoyed spending time with family.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, John Ricci Sr., her daughter and son-in-law Tina and Steven Moriarty of Willington, CT, her son William H. Gerlack of Manchester, CT, her son and daughter-in-law Ralph and Darlene of Stafford, CT, her daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Russell Morton of Houston, TX, her daughter Tara Guilleaume of Willington, CT, her step-son John Ricci III and his wife Lauren, her step-son Ronald Wescott, her step-daughter Rebecca Wescott, her sister and brother-in-law Beverly and John Ballantine and her sister Louise Ortiz, her many grand-children, and her great grand-children. She is predeceased by her mother, Erma Sullivan, her brothers Ronald, Harold, and Richard Ballou, her grandson Jonathan Gendron, and her granddaughter Heather Gerlack.

There are no funeral services or arrangements at this time. The family requests, that in liue of flowers, a donation be made to Arrow Child and Family Ministries at weblink.donorperfect.com/arrow in Carol's name.
