"A part of my heart lives in Heaven"
Mun, the pains of your demise left me shattered. Nothing breaks my heart more than having a world and a home without you. How do I live without calling you these names ‘Sweet mum, Mama Obiageli, Ojiugo, Mama Ify Nne mama Ify, Great Amazon, Damian’s diamond, Grand Mama Jos’. This few months without you has indeed been the longest and darkest months of my existence. No wonder, it is said that when a mother dies, we lose a piece of who we are, we lose the person whose story provides the beginning of our own’ you were truly an inspiring soul, a disciplinarian a pathfinder and an instructor. Your door was always open to those who came knocking for solace in their problem. Your warm embrace was accompanied with bright smile. A mother with a heart of gold. Beautiful Mother, Nneoma, Precious mum, a woman like no other in a million... there is not a word to describe how important you are to me. I am privileged to be born from your womb. You thought me all the basics, how to survive in difficult times, how to love beyond bounds, how to be a good daughter, wife, mother and to open my arms to accommodate others. You thought me all but one thing you failed to teach is how to live without you, how to live a day without hearing your voice saying ’’Oby! Kedu? The pains of your death took away the better me with you. As an Ada, how do I fit into those big shoes of yours? How do I carry out those family duties which you readily executed with so much ease. I will forever miss you with silent tears. Mummy, you remain a part of my heart that lives in heaven. Please walk with us forever with the Heavenly Angels.
Keep resting in the arms of the Supreme Creator.
Love you mum!
