This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Carolyn Williams, 80 years old, born on September 17, 1942, and passed away on March 7, 2023. We will remember her forever.

To one of the most gracious teachers I have known. She gladly severed the students in her classes. She could make a required reading become an interesting debate. Not only did she take care of the students she took care of her colleagues. She found me while I was in chemotherapy and brought me some North Carolina barbecue. It was greatly appreciated.

Ms. Williams was a wonderful and gifted teacher. When I started teaching at Potomac HS, she mentored me and helped me to become a strong teacher in the English classroom. I modeled my teaching ways after her because she knew what to do and how to do it. She was multi talented covering most, if not all subjects. She was always willing to help other up and coming teachers as well as the seasoned ones. Thank you Carolyn, for all your care and support. You have left a big hole in the education arena. Love and miss you.
