Our mother's life ended peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 7:00pm.  

After battling cancer for more than a year she decided that she was ready to move to hospice care just one week prior to her death.  Dave was able to get her moved to the Tidewell Hospice House on Monday, August 5th.  

All of her surviving sons and two grandaughters were able to be with her in Florida during her final days.  She seemed to be very much at peace with her decision to move on.

She received loving care from the Tidewell Hospice team and tremendous support from many friends in Florida, Iowa and elsewhere.  Words cannot express our gratitude for all that you've done for our mother.
