Mrs. Jennings was born, Wednesday, December 18, 1940, in Troup County, the daughter of the late Odessa Givins and Thomas Otis Vernon Waldroup. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jennings was a substitute teacher working with special needs children. She loved spending time with her family and listening to country music. She was known for her story telling.

Survivors include her husband, Wade Jennings of LaGrange; her daughters, Jan Stuart and Rhonda Norred both of West Point and Deanna Oakley of Hogansville; her sons, Tommy Norred, Larry Jennings, and Anthony Jennings all of LaGrange; 8 grandchildren; and her brother Kenneth Waldroup of West Point.
