I remember Aunt Carolyn decorating for Christmas around the end of October into November. She always made Christmas special for everyone.. Her house was known as the gathering place for the family..
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carolyn Nevin on February 26, 2023, at the age of 75. Carolyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her infectious laughter and sense of humor brought joy to everyone around her.
She is preceded by Katherine Easter (mom), Claude Easter (dad), Ken Nevin (Jr. son) Donna Nevin (daughter) and Kenneth Easter ( brother). She is survived by her husband, Ray Nevin; sons David Nevin (Catherine) of Odenville , Jeff Nevin (Rachel) of Clay ; grandchildren Andy Huffstutler, Brooke Nevin, Brandon Nevin, Tracy McKoy, Crystal Nevin, Dylan Nevin, Andrew Nevin and numerous love ones nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Rest in peace, Carolyn.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life visitation at their home on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 1-3 pm at 504 Birch St, Trussville, AL 35173. Anyone who loved Carolyn is welcome to attend.
