Hello Nae Nae - it’s hard to believe 9 years have gone by since you were called home. I miss you so much. I appreciate that you were such a wonderful big sister. There are so many things I would love to share with you. Kayla and Aaron are expecting their first baby in March 2023. It’s a girl. I have waited 34 years for Kayla to have a baby. I know you would be so excited if you were here with us. I hope you know what an important part of my life you have always been. I miss you sweet sister and I love you so much. You will always hold a special place in my heart which is filled with so many sweet memories of you. Until we meet again.

Another year has gone by without you here. It’s hard to believe it’s been eight years, since I last saw you. You will always be in my heart and deeply missed. You were an amazing sister and a wonderful friend. I wish you were here to meet my silly, but very sweet grandchildren. They would definitely keep you laughing. I would love to share with you all the funny things they say and do. I also wish you were here to see Kayla and Drew. They have grown up to be very amazing people. You would be so proud of them. I miss you Nae Nae. Thank you for being such a wonderful big sister. I think of you often and miss you more than you could imagine. I love you my sweet sister!

Happy Birthday Renee. I miss you so much. I was so lucky to have you as my sister. There’s so much I want to tell you. I wish you could be here to meet my grandchildren and hear the stories of all the silly things they do. Drew is a wonderful dad. You would be proud of him. You would be proud of Kayla too. She’s an officer in the Army and is currently deployed to Jordan. You have a great grand daughter now. I haven’t had the opportunity to meet her, but if you were here, I know you would be crazy over her. Dale has a great granddaughter too. I haven't met her either, but I hope to one day. Dale sadly is in a nursing home. It’s a very sad situation. I don’t really get to see her, because I live in Tennessee now. Obviously, there is a lot I wish I could talk about with you. I miss you Renee more than you know. You are not forgotten. You are always in my heart. One day I will see you again. Happy Birthday sweet sister. I love you!

Renee, You and I had some great times as kids. Roller skating at the gym at Capitol View Baptist, riding double on your bike, and getting into your parent's muscadine wine...and many more. I always think of you on my birthday because your birthday is three days later. See you again my friend.

Dale and Anita,
I have just learned of Renee's passing. So sorry for your loss. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever known and I regret that we never reconnected in our adult lives. I am truly heart broken. God bless you all.

Renee - I can't believe you are gone. You can't imagine how much I miss you already. Life will not be the same without you, especially Thanksgiving. We will all miss you prancing around the kitchen while singing, "Gobble, gobble, gobble said the turkey to the pilgrim. You have given us so many wonderful memories that will bring a smile to our faces, but also a tear to our eyes right now. I know you are happy now because you are with Rocky. I know all of your pain from your cancer is gone and you can dance around heaven. We love you Nae Nae. We all will see you again. . . . .
