Ditto to my brother's story. When my mama said something, she meant it. She made no exceptions.  You really knew she was dead serious when she blew those jaws up and rolled her eyes and said "all right now; I ain't playing with y'all." As my daughter often said of her grandmama, she could accomplish all and solve all things with that special look of hers. She said " my grandmama is a jack of all trades."

WE were all very young my siblins and I. We were living in Hampton va, moma was away on some business,instructing us to allow no one in the appartment while she was away.WEll our aunt Frances who lived in Arlington came to visit, She posed not threat as she was our great aunt so I let her in over the protests of my younger sister and brother. When moma returned she was happy to see her aunt and they chatted and had good fellowship. After my aunt left  moma  turned to me  didn't I tell you not to let anyone in my house when im not home. you know the rest of the story
