On November 8, 2019, the world suffered the tragic and sudden loss of Carrie High Wittekind, age 43, of Spring Hill, Tennessee. She leaves behind her loving husband, Adam Wittekind, children Maury, Mada, and Drew; mother Charlotte Bass Smith (Othal - deceased); father Jim High (Gigi); sister Morgan High Orgain (Robert), niece Charlee; in-laws Beth and Mark Wittekind; brother-in-law Russ Wittekind (Brandy), nephews Colton, Wyatt and Camden of Paola, KS; sister-in-law Julie Wittekind Cunnigham (Chris), niece Ellie of Murfreesboro; aunts Betty Bass Robinson (Brad) of Old Hickory, Diane Bass Dawson of Hodgenville, Ky; and step-brothers Trey Smith (Donna) of Paducah, KY and David Smith (Leah) of Pensacola, FL. She also leaves behind many beloved friends.

Carrie is a graduate of Fred J. Page High School and Middle Tennessee State University, class of 1999. She was a gifted artist, painter and muralist, and owner of CHigh Designs. Carrie was a beautiful, loving, compassionate woman who loved fiercely and put her family first. She enjoyed spending time on the Tennessee River with family and friends. Carrie’s joy was contagious, and her life was dedicated to those she loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 16, from 12-5pm at Sage Creek Farms at 7209 Kingston Road, Fairview, TN 37062, and all family and friends are welcome (casual attire).

As Carrie’s family was the center of her universe, more important than anything to her, we ask that in lieu of flowers, please make a contribution towards the fund for the children’s education at
